Malleswaram is an old residential locality, located in the North- West of Bangalore. This locality derived its name from the famous Kaadu Malleswara temple and it a perfect blend of traditional culture and modernity. Malleswaram is well connected by train, bus and other public transports. Metropolitan Transportation Corporation buses (BMTC) provides excellent service in Malleswaram. Direct buses are available Malleshwara to Kempegowda bus station and wanthpur. Sankey Road, Margosa road and C V Raman Road are the three main roads that connect Malleswaram to other parts of the city. The Metro rail construction is also underway which will further boost the connectivity of the area. A Metro station is planned at Malleswaram and it will be operation in next 2 years.
