Namma Metro is geared up for phases 2A and 3. Under Phase , the Gottigere-Nagavara line of Phase 2, a distance of 23.37 kilometres will extend till the international airport. Another 33-kilometre line will connect Yelahanka in North and Sarjapur in southeast under Phase 3. This phase will cover the Outer Ring Road by the metro network with the proposed line from Hebbal to Bannerghatta road via Bannerghatta Road, Ganapathi Temple, Central Silk Board and back to Hebbal.
