Surajkund is an ancient reservoir that belongs to the 10th century. Literally, the word “Surajkund” means the ‘lake of the sun’. It is an artificial kund which is believed to be built by a Gurjar king Suraj Pal of Tomar. Surajkund lies between the Baharpur and the Lakkarpur village, both of them being located in Faridabad.
