Cuncolim is a municipal council and city in the district of South Goa. It was a village which has now been upgraded to a municipal council under the Salcette Taluka. The area is a part of the Assolna Velim Cuncolim or AVC network of villages. Apart from the numerous chapels and churches, Cuncolim houses seven temples, small waterfalls, the Nayaband Lake and the Molanguinim Cave.

The Goa International Airport in Dabolim is a drive of 36.9 kilometres from here, along the NH 17 and NH 17B. The Madgaon Railway Station is around 12.1 kilometres away, through the NH 17. Areas that are near to Cuncolim are Majorda, Benaulim, Mulgaon, Sirvoi, Orlim, Margao, Colva, Cavelossim and Betalbatim.
