Delhi –Meerut Highway is a 90 km long controlled-access expressway which is under construction. On its successful completion, it will be connecting Delhi and Meerut via Dasna in Ghaziabad. As per NHAI, the total length of the entire expressway will be approximately 105.45 km. The construction of the highway has been divided into three stages.
1st Stage: From Delhi to Dasna with 14 Lane
2nd Stage: From Dasna to Hapur on National Highway-14 with Six Lane.
3rd Stage: Also called Green Field, the third stage includes a construction of a 37 km long new alignment
Upon the successful completion, not the only the expressway will connect two major cities but will also boost the real estate market of NCR. Raj Nagar Extension, Greater Noida (West), Crossings Republik, Vaishali, Indirapuram, Kaushambi and Sidharth Vihar are the locations that would be benefitted from the construction of Delhi-Meerut expressway. If developers are keeping an eye on its completion, other people too are looking forward to having apartments at Delhi-Meerut Highway. The rate of plots at Delhi-Meerut Highway has already gone up. The project will get ready in 2018 and so will be developers’ ready to move flats. As per the government of India, the basic amenities like health care, petrol pump, restaurants, vehicle repair, restrooms will be available on the highway. Also, systems will be put in place that will give vital information on weather, traffic and accidents to commuters.
