Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala and lies on the west coast of India. There are several central and state government offices and organisations located in the city. Categorised as a Tier-II city, Trivandrum is one of the 10 greenest cities in the country.

There are 5 railway stations in the city connecting it to almost all key cities in India, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, etc. A proposal to construct a light metro system in the city is under consideration by the government.
